Recitation Competition 2010

The Fifth Annual Caldwell County Middle School Recitation Competition was held February 27, 2010 with 11 students competing.

Middle school students in grades 6-8 from across Caldwell County were expected to memorize and recite a classic/famous poem 3-5 minutes in length and were awarded cash prizes for placing first through seventh in competition.  Recitation is an exciting way for students to increase their appreciation for language and to demonstrate their mastery of public speaking.
