Recitation Competition

The Seventh Annual Caldwell County Middle School Recitation Competition will be held February 25, 2012.

Middle school students in grades 6-8 from across Caldwell County memorize and recite a classic/famous poem 2-1/2 to 3 minutes in length and be awarded cash prizes for placing first through eleventh in competition.  Recitation is an exciting way for students to increase their appreciation for language and to demonstrate their mastery of public speaking.  Students should be allowed to compete in school to qualify for the final competition.
