ADULT POTTERY CLASSES AT OUTLAW POTTERY SCHOOL - Jason Outlaw and Rosalie De Fini Outlaw have been teaching adult wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery in Catawba County since 2009. Outlaw Pottery teaches students off all levels, including beginners who have never taken previous pottery classes, as well as those who have studied pottery at the college level. Pottery classes for adults -- in professional pottery studio for beginning to advanced adult students including hand-building and throwing. For $25/year you can become a member that meets 2nd Saturday mornings (May through October) at 9am at Cheap Joe's. A professional teaching artist does a demo of their work, and provides a workshop in the afternoon. Members only pay $25 for the workshops as a member. Non-members pay $50. As a member, you also get to exhibit in the places that the Society is able to exhibit, with the prospect of always finding new places to exhibit your work. As a member, you also receive a periodic informative newsletter.
