Exposures 2012 Photography Competition

Caldwell Arts Council is pleased to announce "Exposures 2012 Photography Competition" Open to amateur photographers (whose primary source of income is NOT photography), and who live, work, or attend school in the following counties: Alexander, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Watauga, and Wilkes.  Incoming photography will arrive April 2-3; an opening reception will be held April 6th from 5-7:30pm (free to everyone).  Winners will be announced during the reception.

Phil Rhyne will judge the competition.  Phil is an outdoors-man who captures his experiences in photography, with primary specialties of wildlife and landscapes. In recent years he has devoted more time to sharing the photograph experience with others, by teaching how to record an image that reflects a subject correctly. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and a member of Nikon professional services.  Whether capturing an image of a hungry grizzly or listening to the call of a loon, he is at home outdoors.
