We seek to involve our members and citizens at large in activities we plan and sponsor:
Art Classes offsite and Workshops Onsite - Several local artists offer lessons to adults and children, from oil to watercolor to acrylic painting, from pottery to weaving, from collage to drawing. Make some time to learn something new!
Art Library - A collection of art reference books is available to the public for checkout or reading in our boardroom.
Artists In Schools Program- Caldwell County School students attend productions by playwrights, poets, storytellers and singers at J.E. Broyhill Civic Center, and visiting artists perform at various schools as well. Click here to see the current schedule.
Caldwell JAM - Traditional Artists Program in Schools - Junior Appalachian Music (visit their website at http://jaminfo.org/ Leila Weinstein directs this program for Caldwell JAM, providing guitars and fiddles & teaching students at both Granite Falls Elementary and Happy Valley School after school. Granite Falls Concert - Caldwell Arts Council sponsors a concert on the square in downtown Granite Falls every year.

Literary Competition - Registration form and entry guidelines available from the Caldwell County Library; Caldwell Arts Council participates in this competition.
pARTy Series Fundraiser - An annual springtime event to pARTy for the ARTs! A selection of dinners with various themes, culminating in a dessert pARTy at Caldwell Arts Council.

Perennial and Herb Garden - Anyone can pick fresh herbs from our herb garden throughout the growing season -- Help yourselves!

Recitation Competition - All Middle School students are invited to memorize classic/famous poetry 2-1/2 to 3 minutes in length in competition for monetary awards annually in February. Contact arts council office or your school for details.

Taste of Christmas - The Fifth annual event will be held on Friday December 7, 2013, 7-9pm at the Irish Rose Bed & Breakfast, $25/person. This favorite event is as much a friend-raiser as it is a fund-raiser for the Caldwell Arts Council.
